Disturbing Lyrics Brought to You by Barnes & Barnes, Circa 1982
Kid heads kid heads
Roly poly kid heads
Kid heads kid heads
Eat them up
Yum
In the morning laughing happy kid heads
In the evening floating in the soup
Ask a kid head anything you want to
They won't answer they can't talk
I took a kid head out to see a movie
Didn't have to pay to get it in
They can't play baseball they don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers they don't play drums
Roly poly kid heads are never seen
Drinking cappuccino in Italian restaurants
with Oriental women
Yeah.

Unfortunately, I can't see the picture, and that reduces the funny. However I do appreciate the humor in the lyrics.

It took the picture a few seconds to finally pop-up on my screen. Pretty cute, but Very Creepy!

There's no pic! there's no pic! I need the visual... and I remember the video for that song too...

no picture here either... oh sadness!

I thought the song was about fish heads... Have my friends been singing it wrong all this time?

Fun fish head fact: That video was directed by actor Bill Paxton (he of Titanic and Twister fame!) That much talent residing in one person? It boggles the mind....

Sorry about the pic. I've been redoing the post over and over again all day trying to get the picture to continue showing up. Typepad must be having issues.

Bwahahahaha!
Ouch. Just snorted my drink out my nose.

Wow, you could make an album cover of those heads and call it, "Let It Be: The Early Years of the Beatles"

The bottom right pic...is the baby being shunned because of some horrid facial deformity? How cruel life can be.

Love the song, but I *did* see a kid head having cappuccino in an Italian restaurant the other day with an Oriental woman. Funny you should bring it up!

God, I loved that song.......Does that make me a nerd? Thought so. Oh well.

YAY! A Pic! Twas a brilliant parody.
Now, to address the back of a child's head we see - either the child is staring at the other freaky children, which is entirely possible, considering the Art of Fish Heads...
or...
It's the return of that same child who was covered up in the dust cover we saw a few days ago.
I'm betting on the dust cover kid.

The top two appear to be making eyes at each other.

Now I have "Fish heads" floating in my head.....

well,
if anything it is great to see a reference to that great song 'fish heads' by Barnes & Barnes. Thank you for that, i'll play that today:-)

While I love the "Fishhead" reference, I look at this and see a Beatles' album cover.

I have been laughing my little baby head off! These are hysterical. Especially since I grew up in the late 50's 60's 70's and did a lot of sewing from patterns just like the ones you show. Excellent sense of humor!!!!! Peace Love and happiness -Pam

So... what they are really trying to say is that if only children were just heads without bodies they would never be as problematic as the average (complete-package) child.
They'll never pick up those annoying childhood traits that would normally involve a body, like noisy sports or musical instruments.
When they grow up they won't leave you for a more sophisticated (but as you know in your heart) obviously shallow lifestyle involving asian women and expensive coffee drinks.
And if you have any doubt of your kid-head's loyalty, you can eat them too.
(1982 eh? I have a bad feeling my mother had somthing to do with the publication of that poem)

say, did you have to google "dudes that did that fish head song" to come up with barnes and barnes or was this just feckless knowledge you have trapped up in your doctor-demento-listening cranium?

Severed childrens heads! Well, at least they're a lot cheaper than the entire child.
